ECO is Buktika's umbrella for all ecological-outcomes work — covering both the conservation of intact land and the active restoration of degraded land.
ECO is Buktika's pillar for land-based ecological work. It is organised into two channels, each governing its own programme.
ECO is the umbrella under which Buktika's two ecological channels sit: Eco Conservation, for land that has stayed whole, and Eco Restoration, for land that needs active work. Every Buktika ecological programme sits inside one of these two channels.
ECO is not a software agent, automated system, or piece of technical infrastructure — it is the name Buktika uses for a category of real, on-the-ground land programmes and the two channels that organise them. It is also not itself a programme you join directly: you join through whichever channel matches your land's condition.
ECO has two channels — Eco Conservation and Eco Restoration. Each channel governs exactly one programme: Eco Conservation governs the Sielsgrond Programme, and Eco Restoration governs the Restoration Programme.

ECO, Eco Conservation, and Eco Restoration are Buktika's own approved public naming for how the two channels are organised. They implement the Two-Track Model set out in Buktika's Legal D-Set (D1 Part 2), which already separates a conservation track ("land that has remained whole") from a restoration track ("land that needs work"). Sielsgrond and the Restoration Programme — the actual governed programmes inside each channel — are D1-defined terms in their own right.
